A one-year-old collie-mix named Chloe in Rockaway, New Jersey, has found her forever home, thanks to Eleventh Hour Rescue and PetSmart Charities®. Chloe’s adoption tale is anything but ordinary, however. Winchester, a Border collie-mix from the Colorado Humane Society became a member of the Aukamp family of Highlands Ranch, Colo. and marked his spot in June 2007 as the 3 millionth adoption for PetSmart Charities.

Elsie

Elsie, a Labrador-mix from the Lexington Humane Society in Lexington, Ky. found her forever home with the Bradford family and became an important milestone in the history of PetSmart Charities as the 1 millionth adoption in June 2001.

Louie

Louie, a beagle-mix from the Metro East Humane Society received a second chance when he was adopted by the Armstrong family of O’Fallon, Ill. and helped PetSmart Charities reach another milestone by being the 2 millionth adoption in October 2004.
