Protects pets as you protect yourself

My mother was a victim of domestic violence. In 1989 she left my abusive father and took me and my autistic brother and two sisters into a domestic violence shelter. A few days later my father met privately with my mother and told her to put out her hand. He dropped 5 bullets into her hand and told her if she wasnt home by midnight the animals would be dead. She went back to him. She left again in 1995 with us kids and ALL the pets. She is now forming a non profit to care for pets of victims of domestic violence so that no one needs to stay in an abusive situation for their pets safety. She has cared for many pets at this time out of her own pocket struggling to make ends meet. She herself is disabled buut doesn't let that slow her down. She formed Wanna Be Ranch to care for the pets of victims of domestic violence and I think she should be considered as a lifesaving volunteer as shes saved many lives already.
