 Sandy Fleischer is one in a million. Since 2003, she has dedicated her time to helping the MD SPCA and our animals. Sandy devotes her energy to many areas at the MD SPCA. She socializes dogs, shows them to adopters, and walks and trains them while they are in our adoption center. She helps with many outreach and fundraising events through out the year.
Sandy is also part of the MD SPCA's foster program. Sandy has been fostering young or abandoned kittens for some time. "Sandy is amazing. She is always willing to help. Her care and compassion for the animals really shows and she has saved many lives by opening up her home to care for kittens." Katie Flory, the Volunteer Manager said. We all know how important it is to socialize kittens from an early age. Sandy is great at this and always works with her kittens and provides a great personality profile on each animal, which helps the adopter learn more about their new family member.
Not only does Sandy save lives by fostering, she has also been instrumental in finding our animals homes. Whether it is one of her foster babies or one of the animals available for adoption, Sandy always helps our animals to make great matches with friends, family, and people in the community.The MD SPCA has found a gem with Sandy. She is a true asset to our organization and the animals.
