PetSmart Charities Spring National Adoption Event to Give Hope and Find Families for 16,800 Homeless Pets
900 PetSmart stores and 3,400 adoption agencies partner in

32-hour effort to save lives
PetSmart Charities seeks lifelong, loving homes for as many as 16,800 abandoned and homeless pets during its Spring National Adoption Event. Adoptable cats and dogs will be available at every U.S. and Canadian PetSmart store from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday, May 4 and Saturday, May 5, and from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday, May 6. Strong public participation in the event will help the organization reach its milestone of three million pets adopted by the end of May.
Each customer who adopts a pet will receive a new Pet & Parent guide with information and $50 in coupons that include a free small bag of advanced nutrition food for a healthy start for the new pet.
