PetSmart Charities to Host National Spay/Neuter Conference
"Fix It Forum" to Address the Need for more Low-Cost Spay/Neuter Programs to Reduce Pet Overpopulation
PHOENIX – (February 5, 2007) - PetSmart Charities will host ‘The Fix It Forum’ a national spay/neuter conference for U.S. and Canadian animal welfare professionals October 25-27, 2007, at the Doubletree Hotel in Oakbrook, Illinois. The conference is expected to draw up to 500 attendees to network and train on topics including:
- Spay/Neuter delivery models for all communities
- Program and clinic management
- Veterinary protocols
- Fundraising for spay/neuter programs and services
- Planning for maximum impact on pet populations
