PetSmart Charities® Second Chance for Love National Fall Adoption Event Delivered Exciting Results
18,150 Pets Found Homes During the Week of the Event
Last weekend’s PetSmart Charities® Second Chance for Love National Fall Adoption Event delivered exciting results. Our goal was to find homes for 18,800 homeless pets, and thanks to you, 18,150 pets found homes during the week of the event: 9,392 cats, 8,475 dogs and 283 small animals. This was an increase of more than 30 percent compared to last year's event and brings our total lives saved through adoption to 3,903,533 as of September 14, 2009.
