WORTH THE WAIT! Are you a cat person who is willing to give Rachel space and time to come around? If so, you will be rewarded with the softest fur, the gentlest kneads, and the cutest head bops! Rachel is a healthy spayed female, about 3 years old, and weighs approximately 7 pounds. She came to us nursing her SIX gorgeous day old babies, and she was a wonderful momma. Now that they have all been adopted, it is Momma’s turn! She is an indoor-only kitty with beautiful coloring. Though she will take some time to come around initially, once she does: she is a truly wonderful pet. She enjoys being petted and brushed. She is fully litter box trained (and clean with it, no litter kicking/spreading). She is not a picky eater and will accept wet or dry food. In fact, she loves ALL food, so keep an eye out while eating or you may find a few less fries or chips than you had before! And expect chatty company in the kitchen if you're cooking fish or meat. She enjoys looking out the windows and glass doors. She would thrive in a home with an individual, couple, or family with older children and NO dogs or other cats. The adoption donation for Rachel is $100. This donation helps to cover veterinary expenses including spay/neuter, microchip and vaccinations.
