My story

I am a lovable, super friendly dog living in a muscle suit....I`m Squeaky, a 3-year-old Staffordshire Terrier mix who is playful, affectionate, smart and happy to please my human companions. I love soft stuffed toys that squeak for comfort. I`ve been told that I am a volunteer favorite and loved by many. Staffordshire Terriers like me are affectionate towards their families, very loving and we form lasting bonds with our humans. I came to the Sedona Humane Society after being found as a stray and I was adopted once but someone in the family had allergies, so I am back at the shelter. I keep busy playing fetch with the volunteers, I love to splash in the kiddie pool, and I am my happiest when hanging with people.I am a big snuggle bug at heart and will let you know that with “my lean”. Please come to play with me and let me show you all my charming ways! I am potty trained and I need to be the only dog in a home with a fenced in yard as I am not used to having other dogs in my space. I am looking for a relaxing, nurturing and calm home and I do well with older kids! I am learning to stop what I am doing when called and respond to my name in return for a kibble treat. I love a good kibble and could learn new tricks with food rewards. I am neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccines.I am looking for my Superhero’s…can you be that person? Come spend time with me at the shelter and we can hang out in the park, share some love, and get to know each other.
