You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Hooch (TX) is a male Labrador mix rescued in Texas. Our veterinary partner estimates that Hooch is 1-2 years old at the time of intake in Sep 2022.  Hooch is good with people and other dogs.  It's obvious that this sweet boy's life was in despair when we found him but he has come so far.  Hooch was wandering the woods, alone, homeless and with 2 fractured legs.  Dragging himself to survive.   And what a will to survive this guy has, he had surgery to repair his fractures and is doing well in a foster home where he is getting lots of love and physical therapy.  It's amazing how far he has come in a short time and he is determined to find his happily ever after.  From not being able to walk to running and playing and just being a dog like he should be.  If you would like to give Hooch the happy life he deserves as a member of your family please apply online to adopt Hooch (TX) at www.rescuedogsrocknyc.org.   RDR's adoption fees include the cost of spay/neuter/microchip at an RDR-approved facility, whether completed before adoption or if deferred because the pet is too young or has a medical issue.  All pets are also current on age-appropriate vaccines at the time of adoption.
