What my friends at ACC say about me:My history is a mystery and my friends here do not know much about me yet!I would appreciate slow introductions to new people and places to help me feel safe.I would do best in a home without very tiny humans, although I could be open to older human children once I meet them.I love to be loved, but on my own terms! Let's brush up on some canine body language together! My foster writes: Olympic, or Ollie as we've been calling him, is pure sweetness and love packed into the most cuddliest body of a dog! He's got the cutest, most squishable face, and sweet personality to match. Take him to the park and he'll also have a blast playing with the other dogs and giving them boops. He is well behaved, never barks, and is good on leash. He may have had a tough past so can be timid at first. But if you show him gentleness and love, he'll warm up in no time (like within hours). He would do best in a home with someone who wants to love the heck out their dog and who takes a compassionate approach to training. Ollie is the goodest boy and will really shine in a stable, loving home where he can finally relax, feel safe, and express his goofy self!My other foster writes: Meet Olympic-Ollie to his friends! This sweet, gentle soul is the perfect "ride or die" buddy. He has a big heart , a smart mind, and a true passion for treats, naps, and walks. He's eager to please, and has made leaps and bounds with leash walking. Ollie is a big-time cuddle bug who loves resting his adorable head on you, making every snuggle session extra special. People can't help but stop to say hi, and Ollie happily welcomes every new friend. He's also a social butterfly with other dogs, eager to make a buddy out of every pup we pass. Ollie is ready to bring endless love and loyalty to his forever home!My #BoroughBreak Buddy Writes: Olympic is an amazing dog. He has such a gentle and sweet demeanor, and would be an amazing family dog. He was near perfect on his leash, already knows basic skills, and just needs a home to help him decompress and come out of this shell more and more. Whoever adopts him will be so lucky to have him and I can't wait to see.A volunteer writes: If being a loyal, good dog was an Olympic sport, no doubt our Olympic would take home the gold. As we passed by the medical staff today, he had to say "Hi" to all who took care of him. Our Olympic is a gentle boy, a Prince on leash who passes other dogs with ease. He's a bit timid, startled by sudden moves or noises, but makes my heart full when he relaxes and lies down to enjoy the quiet at the park. Olympic is a soft, responsive pup with much love to give (treats help!). Could you be his loving family today? Primary Color: White Secondary Color: Brown Weight: 55.6 Age: 4yrs 3mths 2wks
If you have any questions or would like to adopt Olympic, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
