My story

MEET MILLIE!!! Are you ready to welcome a bundle of joy? Meet Millie, a spirited and affectionate pup who's eager to become the light of your lives! This clever girl learns quickly and has a heart full of love, she's housebroken and generously shares kisses.  Millie adores toys, especially tennis balls and stuffed animals, and she's a master at extracting the squeaky parts in record time! Her adventurous spirit means she's always ready for fun, and while she loves exploring, she also enjoys cozy cuddles on the couch after a day of play. Millie has recently started participating in casual runs with her foster Dad and would make a great running/hiking partner! Millie thrives in an active household or one with a yard to romp around in. She's a fetch aficionado and is currently perfecting her leash skills. She gets excited when she spots rabbits or other dogs, but with continued guidance and practice, she'll become a fantastic walking companion. While we're still getting to know her preferences with kids, Millie seems to be a better fit for families with older kids (teen+). She's a friendly gal who loves to greet people on her hind legs, so be ready for enthusiastic hellos!   Millie has recently discovered her voice, and she loves to let you know when someone's at the door. Though she's crate trained, she prefers to be out and about with her favorite humans. With a confident and loving owner by her side, she'll continue to blossom. For now, Millie would thrive best as the only dog in the household. Millie is an incredibly sweet and loving companion just waiting for her forever home.
