My story

Are you sick of all of your fake friends and just want to find someone loyal? Meet shadow! Shadow is a middle-aged good boy who is in search of a person(s) who will love him as fiercely as he loves them. Shadow came to SOAR after his dad had several rounds of hospitalization and made the tough decision that he could no longer care for both himself and the dog. Shadow stayed in his dad’s “shadow” for his entire 8 years of life which is how he got his name. Shadows ideal home would be a place with people who can take him on long walks, porch sit while sipping a cup of coffee, tea, or a even a beer at the end of the day and watch the world go by as the sun sets. Shadow would do best in a home with sturdy adults, older children or no children. He loves everyone he meets but gets excited and would easily knock someone over on accident. Shadow should not go to a home with small animals. Dad reported that he has never gotten along with small animals, dogs or other. Shadow could do well with another big dog with proper intro and time to adjust, he’s been the only pet in the home his entire life and hasn’t had to share. 10/10 good boy, would recommend.
