My story

Jupiter is a five-year-old, 43-pound German Shepherd mix with a future that’s full of potential. While he may be a little reserved at first, it doesn’t take long for him to warm up and become an attentive and eager companion. This smart boy already knows how to sit and shake, and his love for treats—especially cheese—makes him a quick learner for future training. Jupiter takes his treats politely and enjoys showing off his playful side, happily chasing after toys and bringing them back with a cheerful play bow. Although he can get a bit overenthusiastic and jump up on people, Jupiter responds well to training and is eager to please. He cooperates with leashing but could use some additional leash work. Impressively, he has shown the ability to remain calm and non-reactive when walking past barking dogs, making him an easily redirectable companion. Jupiter will thrive in an active family that can match his energy and continue his training. His adoption fee of $225 includes spaying/neutering, vaccinations, microchipping, and a complimentary wellness visit at Phoenix Mountain Animal Hospital.
