My story

Hey folks Montaro here! and let me tell you, I've got a whole lotta love to give! I'm a big, handsome mix 3-yrs young and full of life! My past? Well, let's just say it wasn't all sunshine and belly rubs, I spent some time at the Palm Beach shelter and you know, a guy learns to look out for himself in those places, but then the amazing humans at Big Dog Ranch came along! They saw the big, goofy heart underneath my tough-guy exterior, and brought me to this slice of doggy heaven! now I'm learning that not all humans are bad and that life can be full of treats and playtime! Speaking of treats, I'm a total sucker for 'em! You want me to learn a new trick? Just dangle a biscuit, and I'm all yours, I'm a quick learner too, especially when there's a reward involved. Now, about my doggy pals… I'm a big, strong guy, and I can be a little particular about my doggy pals It’s because I’m a dominant fellow, and I just want to make sure everyone's safe, you know? So, I need a proper introduction to new dog friends slow and steady wins the race! Once I know they're cool, we'll be best buds! Because of my trust issues that I’m working through I can be a little protective of my food with doggy’s around so feeding me separate would be the safest option until I learn some proper training! I'm super playful, love to romp around, and I'm just a big, lovable goofball.
