Doja Cat! Talkative Girl!

My story

Meet our sleek, green eyed girl named Doja Cat! Doja Cat is about 3 years old, and she came to us after she was found outside in town, petrified and huddled against a building. We could immediately tell that this girl was not used to being outside, and she had no idea what to do. We took her in to our shelter and she immediately opened up. Unfortunately, her owner never came to claim her, so now Doja Cat is looking for a new home! Doja Cat is very talkative in her own way. She is one of those female cats that will hiss and makes all types of noises for attention. She rubs on our legs, hisses, and then wants us to pet her head. Doja Cat is a hefty kitty who could probably use a little diet as she currently weighs about 16 lbs. She likes both dry and canned food, and she uses her litter box well. She is also a big fan of cat nip and will roll around in a pile of it. Doja Cat is a bit uncomfortable around other cats we have here, but she is not aggressive towards them. There is a short application for adoption, however if you do not own your home, or you own a condo, we must speak with your landlord or housing association giving permission to dogs/cats. Bully breed specific permission is required if you rent or own a condo. If you own your home, proof of home ownership is required. If there are other pets in the home they must be licensed (if a dog) and up to date on vaccinations. If there is another dog in the home a dog interaction must be done at the shelter before adoption, to ensure the safety and well being of all pets. All children in the home need to be declared and brought down to meet the animal. Applications must be submitted and approved BEFORE a meet and greet can be scheduled to meet an animal. An approved application does not guarantee an adoption. We do not hold animals for meet and greet appointments. ALL ANIMALS ARE SPAYED AND NEUTERED BEFORE THEY GO HOME.
