Holly Grape

My story

Holly Grape has overcome his shyness like a champion. He's learned how to be loved and he simply can not get enough of it! He'll hide away till he knows you're ready to show him some affection and then come out ready and raring to go. Ear scratches, back pats, chin rubs, he wants it all and he'll be purring the whole time. His foster mom works from home in his room and he is right there all day, asking for pets, grooming, purring, sitting with his body pressed up against her, and reaching out to hold hands. When he flops over, he makes the tiniest air biscuits and just wants to hold your hand. If he decides he wants some love and can't find you, he roams and chirps until he knows where you are. Holly Grape came to us so shy and afraid and has turned out to be the sweetest, lovin' man in only a couple of weeks. He does get a little overwhelmed and will love-bite sometimes, so he'll need a family who can learn his body language. He's still figuring out how to play with toys, but he is very curious with our other cats - we can tell he just wants to be friends. He'll tolerate being picked up, and still working up the courage to climb into your lap on his own, but this foster parent sees Holly Grape as a future lapcat with the right amount of encouragement and love.
