My story

Meet Apple and Blossom Apple and Blossom are two charming terriers looking for their forever homes. These lovely girls, both around three years old, have overcome a challenging start in life and are now ready to bring joy and companionship to a loving family. Their Journey Apple, a striking black terrier weighing 75 pounds, and Blossom, a beautiful white terrier weighing 65 pounds, were found as strays. When they were rescued at just a year old, both had already experienced the hardship of motherhood, struggling to care for their pups on the streets. Life as a stray is tough, and these girls were emaciated and in desperate need of care when they were brought into rescue. Their Qualities Despite their early challenges, Apple and Blossom have blossomed into wonderful companions. Here are some of their standout qualities: Dog-Friendly: They get along well with other dogs, making them a great addition to a multi-pet household. Good with Kids and People: Their friendly nature makes them perfect for families. Crate Trained: They are comfortable in a crate, ensuring easy integration into your home. Leash-Trained: They walk decently on a leash, making outings enjoyable. Excellent Recall: They come when called and are well-behaved. Not Bonded but Compatible: While they are not bonded, they do get along well, so they can be adopted together or separately. Health and Care Apple and Blossom are easy keepers. They are: Spayed Up-to-date on all vaccines Microchipped Heartworm Negative These "fat beautiful girls," as their rescuers lovingly describe them, are in excellent health and ready to become cherished members of a new family. Their contrasting colors and sizes even earned them the affectionate nickname "Salt & Pepper"! Adoption Information Apple and Blossom are available for adoption through Barking Mad Animal Rescue. If you're interested in providing a loving home for one or both of these delightful terriers, please fill out the adoption application available through the provided link. If you're considering adopting both girls, discuss with us about a reduction in adoption fees. We are committed to finding the perfect home for them and can find sponsors to assist with the fees. Bring Apple or Blossom into your home and heart, and enjoy the love and loyalty only a rescued pet can offer!

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Apple, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
