My story

Clove Male brown tabby DSH Estimated DOB: 4/15/25 About: Clove is a crazy and playful little guy! He enjoys playing with his siblings and mom and running around the house. He is a sweet boy! Backstory: Someone found a litter of newborn kittens in their woodpile and relocated them into their shed hoping that mom would find it a more secure area to raise her kittens. Mom did not approve of the new change of venue and was able to take 2 of her kittens away and hide them somewhere new before the finders noticed what she was doing. They then took the remaining 2 kittens inside and set a live trap out for mom but she did not return. Having been separated from mom, the finders contacted the rescue and we were able to place Clove and his sister with a mom cat with a litter of similar aged kittens! The finder is still working on trapping mom and the two remaining kittens but unfortunately has not seen them yet. Thankfully, Clove is safe in care and is a happy healthy kitten! Location: He is the forerunner for kitten week and was brought to the cafe a week ahead of time (Kitten week at Happy Cat is August 17-23 Go to happycatgr.com for more info!) Medical: All cats are spayed/neutered, current on age appropriate vaccines (rabies and distemper), microchipped, given flea/tick prevention and dewormer, FIV/FeLV tested, and any other veterinary care that is needed prior to adoption.
