ELSIE

My story

This beautiful pup is Elsie! She arrived at the shelter as a lost girl along with her brother, Kermit, on 6/19. Kermit has now been adopted. Elsie also is hoping for a new, loving home. She is shy initially, but warms up quickly and then LOVES to play! She is working on their leash walking skills and also the command 'sit'. Puppies are super cute, but they're also a lot of work. If you have the time, patience, and energy to commit to a puppy please come meet Elsie. Elsie is approximately 8 months old, and weighs 36 lbs. She will most likely be a medium-sized dog when fully grown. She is UTD on vaccines and did test negative for heartworms. She will be spayed and microchipped upon adoption. Elsie is waiting patiently in run 58; her ID # is 11073. Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When inquiring about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER. This pet is available for adoption from Cobb County Animal Services, 1060 Al Bishop Dr. Marietta, GA 30008, (770) 499-4136. Shelter hours: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed Mondays & Holidays. The adoption includes shots, altering, a heartworm or combo test and a microchip.
