A generous donor is sponsoring Lorelei’s adoption fee! Meet lovely Lorelei, a sweet 7-year-old, 55 lb. pittie mix with a heart full of love to give and receive! Simply put, Lorelei is a gentle, loyal, loving soul and is ready to find her forever home!! Lorelei's affectionate personality will win you over from the moment you meet her. She is the perfect mix of playful and calm, always up for a neighborhood walk or a hike in the Redwoods, but just as happy to curl up in a cozy little donut shape while you work or relax at home. She is so easy-going! Lorelei is housebroken and crate-trained (she loves her crate) and has excellent manners. She is the best of both worlds: enjoys long walks or hikes and then is happy to settle in for a nap by your side. She is an ideal companion for someone or a family who would appreciate her loving, gentle, loyal nature. This sweet, affectionate girl loves nothing more than being close to her humans! Lorelei's kennel is her happy place where she feels safe and cozy. She got along well with her foster parents' 14-year-old Chihuahua, however, she is dog selective about other dogs she meets. She walks well on a leash and gets excited when she sees a new doggy friend! She recently met a toddler and a baby, and was gentle and sweet. She's been around cats and is curious, but ignores them if they ignore her. She adores her squeaky toys and bones, and is always eager to please. If you're looking for a lower-energy sweetheart who enjoys a stroll through the neighborhood or a hike in the woods, and loves to snuggle, Lorelei is ready to bring endless joy, cuddles, and love into her new home.
