My story

Meet Bug! Bug is a 16-pound bundle of energy and quirkiness, just waiting for the right person to give him the time and space he needs to blossom. Bug needs a patient, gentle person to help him feel safe—but once he warms up, he’s affectionate, loyal, and eager to be near his person. He’s a great passenger on car rides, crate-trained, and not destructive with anything that isn’t a toy. Bug is still working on building confidence when left alone and is learning leash manners at his own pace. He can be selective with other dogs and would do best as the only pet in an active, adult-only home, or one with older, dog-savvy kids. With love, patience, and a quiet place to land, Bug will reward you with devotion, goofy bursts of energy, and the kind of companionship that only a once-shy dog can give.(IC)
