My story

My adoption fee will be waived July 18 and 19 as part of thePURR-OVER BREWS ADOPTION EVENT !!! Meet Arya! She has been waiting patiently at the shelter for herperfect adopter to come along. Arya has been overlooked due to her age - while kittens and young adultscats are often adopted quickly, many of our senior cats wait longer to findtheir perfect match. We think Arya deserves the best retirement home, andadopting a senior can be extremely rewarding. They are extra grateful andso are we! Arya is a spirit cat, and if you adopt her, you probably would not evennotice she is in your house if it were not for the mysterious overnightdisappearance of cat food. We often cant predict how a spirit cat will be after they settle insome become comfortable around their family and choose to spend time withthem by sharing the same space or allowing some petting, while otherscontinue to prefer to hide when theres any commotion. Our staff can helpprepare adopters to welcome a spirit cat into a quiet home, but patienceand understanding will go a long way with Arya.DOGS: No thank you! Arya previously lived with a dog and would hide a lot when they were aroundCATS: No thank you! Due to Arya’s previous hx of living with cats and her sensitive demeanor she would be best as the only cat in the homeKIDS: No thank you! Arya would do best in a low traffic quiet home to help her feel confident and comfortable
