My story

Location: Dover, PA Meet Mace – The Smart, Easygoing Gentleman in Training Personality Mace is a gentle soul with an open heart and a curious mind. Friendly and calm, he’s the kind of dog who greets both people and pups with an easy tail wag and a quiet confidence. He’s settled into his foster home with grace and is proving to be an adaptable companion who just wants to be part of the family. Energy Level Generally relaxed with spurts of playful energy, Mace enjoys a good walk or a few minutes of tug before settling down for some lounge time. He’s content with light daily activity, unless he’s very excited, in which case, he might still jump up to say hello (we’re working on it!). Skills and Training - Housebroken – solid on his potty skills - Mostly leash trained – doing well and enjoys his walks - Great with new people and other dogs – very social - Working on manners – especially learning not to jump when excited - Smart and eager to please – he picks up on routines quickly and is already mastering the basics Companionship Mace would be a great fit in a wide range of homes. He’s easygoing and affectionate, and his adaptability makes him a good match for individuals, couples, or families with older kids. He’d likely enjoy another friendly dog to pal around with, but would also thrive as a solo pup soaking up your attention. Love and Affection Mace is quietly affectionate - the kind of pup who will follow you from room to room just to be near you. He may not demand constant pets, but he clearly enjoys your company and shows his love in gentle, steady ways. With more time and trust, his sweet nature is only going to blossom further.
