My story

Nyla A17350364 lb. spayed female, approx 9 months old -She’s a very big puppy!-Likes to jump up for attention and loves to be on your lap for pets-When you get down on her level she immediately comes over and gets in your lap and flips over for belly rubs. Very wiggly and arms and legs flailing around.-She definitely needs space to romp and play!-Affectionate and gives kisses-She is treat motivated, sits and takes them nicely. If you hold them too long she will jump up to get them. Puppy stuff.-Needs work with leash manners still-Will need some puppy training. Please keep that in mind if you want a puppy. They require time and patience to be the best that they can be! -Seems non reactive to dogs nearby and may do well living with a fur sibling after slow and proper intros Unknown behavior with dogs/cats/kids•Meet all of our adoptable pets on our website friendsofdacc.org/adopt •Please keep in mind that the shelter can be a very stressful environment. •Studies show that a minimum of 3 days decompression drastically lower stress hormones and allow the dog to show more personality after they have settled in. •There is a suggested donation of $100 for our dogs, payable by cash, check or through paypal at the time of the adoption. •To meet them please go to front door and a DACC staff member will assist you with adoption or fostering. **And when coming to meet one of our dogs, please bring all the humans with you, but leave any current dogs at home. Staff will go over how to slowly and properly introduce them after a decompression period.** •The shelter is open 7 days a week from 10:30-5:30 **1431 E Ferry St. Detroit
