This 11-12 week old petite Shepherd mix is as sweet as her name suggests, with just the right amount of spunk to keep life fun and full of laughter. She came to DPS from a shelter at the tender age of eight weeks old and weighed in at a mere 5 lbs! So while she has a Shepherd-y look, we suspect she's mixed with something much smaller and will be closer to medium sized when full grown. She's now hit 10.8 lbs and is as cute as ever! Milk Dud is a confident, curious, and playful puppy who’s never met a stranger— she adores people and dogs alike and is happiest when she’s by your side, being your loyal little shadow. She’s got the makings of a social butterfly and would thrive in a home with another playful pup and even kids— she’s already tested and approved! Her days start bright and early at 6:30AM, with three meals on the menu (though she often prefers playing with the resident dog over finishing her food!). She’s making great progress with potty training and has started coming when she hears the whistle— this girl is smart and eager to learn! She’s even figured out how to respectfully coexist with the household cat, giving him space when needed. Milk Dud has the energy and enthusiasm to be an awesome hiking buddy, jogging partner, or adventure sidekick. She’s probably not destined for couch potato life— this pup would much rather tag along to soccer games, shopping trips, or wherever life takes you. With her sweet nature, quick learning, and playful heart, Milk Dud is ready to bring endless joy and puppy kisses to her forever family. Whoever scoops her up is in for a lifetime of love and fun!
