My story

Cookie is a playful grey tabby kitten with a personality as bold as her striking striped coat. With an ever-curious nature, she’s constantly exploring every nook and cranny of her surroundings. Whether she’s pouncing on a rogue shoelace or darting through the living room like a miniature tornado, Cookie brings boundless energy and mischief to her home. Despite her high-spirited antics, she’s also a cuddly companion who loves curling up in a warm lap or nestled under a blanket after a long day of adventures.Born with an instinct for both curiosity and comfort, Cookie has quickly become the heart of her household. Her tiny meows, expressive tail flicks, and occasional clumsy tumbles are as endearing as they are entertaining. Though still young, Cookie is already showing signs of a clever and affectionate cat in the making—quick to learn, eager to play, and always ready to charm her way into hearts with a gentle headbutt or soft purr.ADOPTION PACKAGE:Thank you for your interest in adopting your next pet from The Haven. Each cat adoption fee of $125 includes spay/neuter, up-to-date vaccines, rabies vaccine and tag (age 3 months and up), microchip, deworming, flea/tick/heartworm preventative, testing for feline AIDS, leukemia, and heartworms, a free starter bag of Hills Science Diet, and coupons from area businesses.Please make sure you review the following as part of the adoption process:· Adopter must be 18 years of age or older.· A current government-issued photo ID (no student IDs) - such as a driver`s license, state ID, passport, military ID, etc.· Have a Meet and Greet with the animal and our adoption coordinator (These can be a virtual Meet and Greet session due to COVID-19)· Adopters are responsible for bringing their own travel carrier with them when picking up their new pet.· The Haven accepts cash, check, debit/credit card, or money order.* For adopters of cats and dogs aged 6 months or less, or those with a medical condition preventing immediate spaying or neutering, The Haven requires a signed Spay/Neuter (S/N) Agreement and a $100 cash deposit, refundable upon completion of the spay/neuter procedure.
