My story

Currently being fostered in Brooklyn Park, MD Meet Gessabelle – Artist, Disney Princess, and Certified Sweetheart Soft sable fur? ✅ Award-winning smile? ✅ Puppy dog eyes that could melt steel? ✅ Yup - we’re talking about Gessabelle, the spirited girl who’s part pup, part heart-stealer, and definitely part adventurer. Personality Gessabelle is a friendly, brave, and endlessly curious girl who loves everything and everyone - people, dogs, cats, kids, butterflies, you name it. She’s got that Disney princess energy and she’s not afraid to use it. She’s affectionate, loyal, and always looking for the next cuddle (or the next backyard expedition). Energy Level Medium energy - she enjoys plenty of outside time, active play, and exploring, but she also has a soft side that shines through during naps with her people and cozy moments under a blanket. Skills and Training - Knows “Sit” and “Down” - Working on “Stay,” “Quiet,” and recall - Almost fully house trained (occasional accidents but rare) - Food motivated and a very quick learner - Crate training in progress - she barks/howls initially when left alone Working on confidence and independence Note: Gessabelle is a clever escape artist! She can climb or jump over baby gates and low fencing. A secure yard (with supervision) and safe containment are musts for this curious explorer. Companionship - Gessabelle thrives in almost any environment, but she would especially love a home with: - A canine sibling to romp and nap with - A yard to explore (with sturdy, secure fencing) - People who understand she’s still learning how to be okay when alone - She’s great with other dogs, cats, and new people - her social battery rarely runs out. Love and Affection From flopping into your lap for a snuggle to following you around like a furry shadow, Gessabelle is all heart. She bonds closely with her people and gives back tenfold. She’s got love, loyalty, and plenty of kisses just waiting for the right family.
