My story

Meet Wendy!This sweet three month old female kitten, and her sister Lucie, are looking for that purrfect person, or family, who can give them the forever home they so desperately need! Wendy was brought to us with both of her eyes seriously injured. Unable to save them, our team made the difficult decision to take remove her eyes so they would not impact her health any further. Wendy is completely blind and will need assistance getting around as she learns to adjust to this new life. Due to her impairment, Wendy can be a bit sensitive meeting new people and takes extra time to adjust to new places. The only constant this little girl has had in her life is her sister, Lucie. These two have given each other the courage and strength to weather through the hard times and are ready to spend the good times together. Wendy and Lucie are a bonded pair and must go home together. These girls will need someone who is willing to give them that time and space to acclimate to their forever home and her family. Wendy and Lucie may appreciate some cat companions in their forever home to help guide them in their life as a housecat. However, due to their sensitive nature we highly recommend slow introductions between Wendy & Lucie and any potential feline family members.
