My story

Tucker is a tail-wagging, toy-tossing bundle of fun who’s ready to find his forever adventure buddy!Tucker is a wirehaired Griffon/wirehaired German Pointer mix, weighing in at about 70 lbs of love and enthusiasm. Though we have some paperwork saying he's 5, both his foster mom, and his vet agree that this goofy guy is probably closer to 2 years old!Tucker is the definition of happy-go-lucky. When his tail wags (which is basically always), his whole body joins in! He’s great with other dogs, loves meeting people, and is full of zest for life. Due his size and energy, we think he’d do best in a home with older kids, not because he’s mean, just because he might knock over the littles in his excitement!Tucker's ideal home? An active one!Tucker would thrive with a family who loves walks, hikes, runs, or road trips. He is fantastic in the car and ready to GO anywhere with you!Tucker's favorite games?1. Fetch (his version): You throw it, he chases it... and then keeps it.2. Tug-o-war: He could go forever!3. Solo play: Yes, he even tosses toys to himself when you’re tired. Tucker is a one-dog party! Despite his big energy, Tucker is sweet, social, and just wants to be part of the fun.
