My story

Hi there, I’m Ginger! I’m a loving, snuggly beagle girl who’s searching for a forever home—oh, and can my brother Conner come too? We’re a bonded pair of beagle siblings who have spent every moment of our lives together, so we’re hoping to find a family that’s ready for twice the beagle love. As a senior pup, I’m calm, affectionate, and happiest when I’m tucked under your arm, soaking up all the cozy snuggles I can get. I’m also a great communicator—if Conner and I need to go outside, I’ll be the one to gently let you know. I’ve always looked out for my brother, and he’s always been my calm and steady shadow. Our early days weren’t easy. Conner and I were rescued from an animal testing lab when we were just 11 months old. But we’ve come such a long way since then! We’ve lived a quiet, loving life and even helped other rescued dogs adjust to the world. Over the years, we’ve encountered lots of pups—big and small—and helped them feel safe just by being our sweet, gentle selves. And I’ve got a silly side too! When Conner’s laying down, I sometimes sit right on top of him! He doesn’t mind one bit. That’s how close we are. We also have a bedtime routine we love: one last trip outside, a treat, then curling up close together for the night. We’re great with other dogs and even with birds, but our biggest love is people—and each other. Conner and I are truly a team, and we can’t imagine life apart. If you’re looking for a pair of sweet, well-mannered, deeply bonded beagles to bring warmth, companionship, and joy into your life… we just might be your perfect match! My location: WEST FALLS, NY *Please note that third-party sites like PetFinder or Adopt-a-Pet may sometimes list multiple locations for the same animal. My correct and current location is the one listed directly above!* *Beagle Freedom Project facilitates out-of-state adoptions, provided the adopter is able to travel to the animal's current location for pickup.* If you are interested in adopting me, please fill out an adoption application at https://bfp.org/adopt/ Please email the Beagle Freedom Project Team with questions at: adopt@bfp.org. ABOUT BEAGLE FREEDOM PROJECT: Beagle Freedom Project is the world's leading organization for rescuing and rehoming animals used in experimental research.
