My story

Meet Benji! Benji is a small but mighty 7-year-old Yorkie mix with a big zest for life. Don’t let his size fool you—this little guy has energy to spare and a love for adventure! He’s especially fond of getting outside to sniff around, explore, and even splash in water—clean or dirty, he’s not picky! Benji does well with other socially savvy dogs, but he’s a bit too interested in cats, so a feline-free home is a must. He walks best in a harness, as he tends to get a bit excited on leash—he just can't wait to get moving! True to his terrier roots, Benji would thrive in a home that can provide him with mental and physical enrichment. Whether it’s a sniffy walk, a fun game, or a new task to master, Benji’s always up for something engaging. After a good adventure, he’s also more than happy to curl up in your lap and soak up the love. Benji was doggy-door trained in his previous home, so he may need a little extra guidance learning how to signal when he needs to go outside in a new environment. With a bit of patience and consistency, he’ll get the hang of it in no time! If you’re looking for a smart, spunky little dog who balances cuddle time with “let’s go!” energy, Benji might be your perfect match.
