My story

Meet Teddy!Teddy is a 3 year old male Terrier, tiny Schnauzer mix. Teddy may be small in size, but he’s overflowing with love! A true cuddle bug, he thrives as an indoor dog who just wants to be close to his people. Whether it’s lounging on the couch or snoozing by your feet, he’s happiest simply being near his family. He also loves kids.He enjoys his daily walks (though nothing too far—those little legs get tuckered out!), and his absolute favorite thing? Toys and treats. Give him a chewy toy and a little “snacky snack,” and you’ll see the happiest tail wag around. He’s a total foodie and will do just about anything for a tasty nibble. However, he is very selective about what he eats, so his foster has been making his food from scratch. His foster can try to wean him off scratch food and transition him to him to dry kibble if that helps..He’s a sweet and loyal guy once he warms up, but he does appreciate a proper introduction to new people. He can be a little protective of his space at first, so giving him a minute to say hello on his own terms makes a big difference. He would be fine as the only dog in his adoptive home. Car rides aren’t exactly his favorite—he gets a bit anxious—but with some patience and time, he settles in just fine.Teddy is house and crate trained.
