My story

Name, age, breed: Sid AKA Ace, 3.5 months, Husky mixesLikes: Love playing tug of war, chewing on chew toys, belly rubsDislikes: A bit jumpy with loud sudden noises. What would be the ideal home? Ideal home would be active; he is full of energy and loves to play, so a home where he has space to run around and people to interact with would be best. Good with other cats? He will try to “play” with our two cats. As he is still a puppy, he can get a bit aggressive with them, but I think once they are older and more trained, he would do fine with other cats. Good with dogs? He was great when during puppy yoga with their siblings! Super playful and curious, I think he would do well with other dogs. Good with children? He met two six-year-olds twice, and both times he was just super excited and wanted to say hi. I think he would do fine with kids. Temperament: Ace is more laid-back and “clingy” to his people than his brother Zeus. He like to be close to use, will lay at our feet, his attention is very tuned into his people. This can make him a little clingy if we leave the room, but he settles quickly and he is okay to be on his own/play with his brother, but definitely prefers to have someone around. Motivators? Treats, toys, etc…: He is highly food motivated; slightly less toy motivated, Any commands?: He is pretty good at “sit”. When standing next to his crate, if you point inside and say “bed”, he will go in and lay down. He is pretty good at “touch” – where you hold your hand out flat, he will run up and touch it with their nose (not great at it from a distance yet but working on it). He is also starting to catch onto “down”.House trained? For only being 3.5 months, he is pretty good with house training. We have a balcony with a grass pad, and when he needs to go, they will walk over to the door and either whine or start pacing. Sometimes we leave the balcony door open during the day, and he takes himself out to use the bathroom as needed. A few accidents happen if he gets super excited, or if we don’t catch their cues fast enough, but he gets the idea of outside=potty. Crate trained? Yes. He take naps in them daily, and sleep in them overnight. How long will it take to settle into a new environment? He is super easy going – I don’t imagine it would take more than a few days to settle into a new spot. Any special needs or traits an adopter should know? He
