My story

If youandamp;#39;ve got a lap&#44 then Iandamp;#39;ll love you the moment we meet! Hi&#44 Iandamp;#39;m Smokey&#44 and Iandamp;#39;m one of the most affectionate dogs at the shelter. I love to find your lap and climb in&#44 or Iandamp;#39;ll just lean into you&#44 and I will solicit strokes and pets and all the lovinandamp;#39; and turtle dovinandamp;#39; that you can muster! I really want to be close to my humans. I gain confidence in myself when I have you by my side. Yes&#44 Iandamp;#39;m a shy guy&#44 fearful of too many new things all at once which can make me nervous. But take it slow&#44 give me a chance to know you&#44 and after that&#44 well&#44 every time I see you&#44 youandamp;#39;ll get my world renowned greeting&#44 which consists of a bouncy&#44 enthusiastic&#44 wiggly HELLO!andlt;br/andgt;andlt;br/andgt;I love walks&#44 and Iandamp;#39;m very curious about those squirrels&#44 birds and bunnies we see along the way. I enjoy the sound of a squeaker in a toy&#44 but Iandamp;#39;m not quite sure yet what to do with it. Iandamp;#39;m respectful when I play with my human&#44 and I always listen and try to do the right thing around you.
