My story

Meet Oscar! Oscar is a sweet, snuggly little guy who’s quickly proving himself to be a lovable companion. At night, he sleeps quietly in his crate and keeps it clean, he even appears to be potty trained. During the day, he may cry a little when left alone, but he's calm and non-destructive when crated. Oscar walks nicely on leash, needing only occasional redirection. He doesn’t seem to know any commands yet, but he’s eager to please and very attached to his people, he’ll happily follow you from room to room just to be near you. When it comes to other dogs, Oscar does best with slow introductions. He initially barked and chased the resident dog in his foster home, but with a little time and decompression, they’re now doing great together and enjoying the yard side-by-side. Oscar is extremely affectionate and adores being held and cuddled. He’s gentle and sweet when meeting new people, no fear or hesitation, just tail wags and curious sniffs. He’s still figuring out playtime but surprises his foster family with little bursts of joy, like pouncing on a toy or proudly stealing a sock. Overall, he's more of a laid-back cuddle bug than a high-energy pup. He’s full of adorable quirks, from sneaky little kisses when you’re least expecting them, to begging to be lifted onto the couch (those short legs just don’t cut it!). He also loves burrowing under blankets in his crate. Oscar would do well in a variety of homes, whether with kids or without, as long as he’s got someone to love. He’s perfect for anyone who wants a mellow, loving companion without the chaos of puppyhood.
