My story

Hi! I’m Macha — pronounced Mah-cha — and I’m the happiest, cuddliest girl you’ll ever meet. I’ve been with my foster for a little over a year now, and every single day I wake up excited for life. I’m friendly with everyone — women, men, kids of all ages, big dogs, small dogs… even squirrels and birds get me a little jazzed!I absolutely adore being around people. If you’re sitting, I want to be next to you. If you’re standing, I want to be near your feet. I love cuddles, I take treats super gently (even though I’m very excited about them!), and I always greet people with a happy heart and waggy tail.I’m working on a few things, like potty training — I’m getting there, promise! — and my foster helps me by keeping me on a routine and giving me breaks throughout the day when she’s home. While she’s at work, I stay in my crate. Good news? I actually love my crate! It’s my cozy little spot.I do get a little anxious when my person leaves, because I just love being near them so much. But having a comfy crate and some toys helps me manage. Speaking of toys… well, I have a bit of a habit of shredding them. What can I say? I love a good project.I know how to sit, I walk nicely on a leash (even if I get a little excited at first), and I’m always watching the world around me with curiosity and joy.If you’re looking for a super affectionate, social, playful pup who’ll be your shadow and your snuggle buddy — that’s me.
