We landed back in Charlotte on July 3, 2025, after an anniversary vacation in Scotland. Before we left for Scotland, we tidied everything up with the rescue to assure a little quiet time away and so we could settle back in slowly when we returned home. Yea, sure. We were at baggage claim when the Lancaster Animal Shelter called about this litter of four. Scotland has a native wildcat called, appropriately enough, Scottish Wildcats. That is how these kits got their litter name and their names. We have two males and two females. The boys are Corey and Cal, and the girls Skye and Flora. All the names are from places we visited or things we saw in Scotland. They were about four weeks old, scrawny, and dirty, but they were anything but wild. They love attention and come running to be pet whenever anyone walks in the room. All four kittens are active, playful, curious, and loving. Corey, a brown tabby male, loves lap time but also enjoys roughhousing with his siblings. Cal, a solid gray male, is the best snuggler of the four. He cannot get enough attention. Skye, a classic black and white tuxedo female, has an adorable personality along with the cutest white streak up her nose. Definitely the most rambunctious of the four. Flora, a black and silver tabby female, like Corey just enjoys quiet lap time after playing with her sister and brothers. We have a strong preference for littermates to be adopted in pairs, the advantage being you are guaranteed to have a bonded pair with siblings. Our adoption fee is $150 and covers FIV/FeLV testing, deworming, vaccinations, and spay/neuter with a partner clinic. To set up a visit, drop me a note at cherylsferalsandfosters@gmail.com or PM me. If you are considering adopting, please fill out and submit the adoption contract found in The Adoption Process link on my website (cherylsferalsandfosters.com). In the meantime, you can follow their journey on Facebook: Cheryl’s Ferals and Fosters Chat Group. We are a non-profit 501(c)(3).
If you have any questions or would like to adopt The Scottish Wildcats - Flora, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
