My story

Truffle is a sweet 6-year-old Beagle who has been given a second chance at life. Rescued from a life of breeding in a dog box, she's finally experiencing the world and loving every minute of it. Truffle's favorite things in life are playing with her canine friends and following fascinating scents outside. And when she catches a whiff of something amazing, she lets out a unique "truffling" noise – see the video to hear it for yourself! Truffle is a friendly soul, but her past experiences have left her a bit wary of unexpected touch. She can be hand-shy and may duck down if approached too quickly. With patience and love, she's learning to trust and enjoy human interaction. Everything is new to her, from treats and toys to dog beds and housetraining. She's a quick learner and is thriving in her new life. Fantastic with other dogs, cats, and kids – Truffle is a social butterfly! However, she may not be suitable for homes with rabbits or small pets. Despite her rough start, Truffle is grateful for her new beginning and radiates happiness.
