Found as a stray in South Carolina — tail wagging, heart open — Velma waited patiently at the shelter for someone to notice her. When no one came, our rescue CEO met her in person and knew this girl couldn’t be left behind. Now she’s made it all the way to NYC and is dreaming of a home to call her own.   Velma is a gentle, loving hound mix who thrives on cuddles and companionship. She adores children, making her the perfect pup for a family or even an elderly couple who loves visits from grandkids.
