My story

Meet Diesel (aka Baby Diesel)! &#226&#156&#168He’s about 1 year old, around 44 pounds, and literally can’t stop smiling. Seriously—he’s a walking ray of sunshine with paws.This golden mix goofball is ridiculously happy, full of life, and lives for cuddles, kisses, and showing off how good he is at sitting and heading to his playpen when asked (yeah, he’s kind of a genius).Diesel is housebroken, loves being outside, and does great with other dogs after a proper intro. He might be a little shy meeting new pup friends, but with people? He’s an affectionate stage-5 clinger in the best way possible.Is this the most photogenic moment? Maybe not. But it perfectly captures who he is—a sweet, happy, wildly lovable boy with a big ol’ smile and even bigger heart. He’d thrive in an active home with lots of love, play, and someone who appreciates goofy grins and golden boy vibes.IMPORTANT: Please read all below, especially if you live outside of Texas, which is where our rescue is located.Apply to adopt on our website: https://www.charmingpetrescue.org/adoptAll of our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on shots.ALL of our animals are located in Boerne, TX, but transport after adoption is available to other states for a $300 fee for dogs or an additional fee varying by location for cats. If you are seeing our pets posted in your state, that's because you live near a transport stop, they are not currently at that location. Petfinder lists our pets as 'Out of Town' pets at other locations, and Adopt-a-Pet lists our location as a Transport stop. Those are currently the only options they offer to make this clear, so we put this description we've put at the bottom to explain it.
