I am at Oakland Animal Services in kennel Dog H:13Harry Beary might resemble a small brown bear, but this 4-year-old, 53-pound Husky mix is soft charm beneath rugged good looks. Harry Beary prefers to take his time warming up, but once he does, he’s all heart. Leash pro: Harry Beary is a joy to walk. He responds to gentle guidance and rarely pulls, though his inner explorer keeps him busy sniffing. Dog-loving & social: He absolutely lights up around other dogs. When he spots a canine friend ahead, he perks up and quickens his pace. playgroups, he’s well-mannered and friendly, a good fit for a home with a resident dog. Polite & gentle: Harry Beary has a soft mouth when taking treats and knows “sit,” though he’s not especially food-motivated. His easygoing demeanor makes him a pleasure to be around. Quietly affectionate: After a walk, Harry Beary will show his loving side, seeking affection with a gentle paw or soft face lick. Calm around people: Generally neutral toward strangers, he’ll show calm curiosity, even around children. His steady temperament makes him a great companion.
