My story

Ready for takeoff? I am Pilot, and I am officially cleared for departure into a life of leisure! I earned my name because I was originally found wandering the airport grounds, but these days, I have officially retired from the hustle and bustle of the runway. I am approximately three years old and have spent some quality time working with a professional trainer to perfect my craft: being the ultimate chill companion. I am already a pro at being a Great Boy, and I come fully equipped with house training, crate training, and the ability to get along wonderfully with other dogs. If you are looking for a high-maintenance adventure buddy, I might not be your guy. I am a super laid-back fellow who doesn't require long walks on the beach or constant car rides to stay happy. I am perfectly content to just kick back, do my own thing, and enjoy the quiet life. Whether I am lounging in my favorite sunspot or relaxing nearby while you do your thing, I am the king of keeping it low-key. Based on my handsome looks, people guess I might be a Shepherd and Hound mix, but my friends at the rescue prefer to think of me as a purebred good boy. I have that smart, loyal brain and a heart that is ready to bond with a family that appreciates a calm, steady presence. I am currently waiting for my co-pilot at Dawgz Tailz & Wagz.
