My story

Have you ever wanted a dog that sticks to you like Velcro? I’m right here! Pastrami is available for foster or adoption in Illinois. Hello world, I’m Pastrami. Or you can call me Rami. Just don’t call me late for dinner, because I love food. Especially cheeseburgers. There’s proof. It got a little messy, but please don’t tell anyone. I’m a 10-month-old Belgian Malinois, about 60 pounds of happy energy and loyalty. I was dropped at a shelter in California with some of my siblings. We were separated, and I don’t know where they ended up. I just hope they got as lucky as I did. Now I’m in Illinois and ready to find my person. Here’s the scoop: Male, 10 months old, Belgian Malinois About 60 pounds Neutered, up to date on shots, heartworm negative Good with other dogs Not cat tested Walks great on a leash Crate trained and potty trained Kid-friendly with children 5 and up (I’ve got energy to spare) I’m super social and love to be part of everything. You could call me the social director. I like to introduce myself to everyone, play with toys and other furry friends, and I’m always up for water fun. I love swimming, splashing, and chasing balls. When it’s time to chill, I still think I’m a lap dog. I’ll snuggle up and keep you company like it’s my job.
