Are you a calm, kind, and consistent individual who helps dogs feel seen and secure? Are you comfortable advocating for your dog? Mia thrives in a structured environment where she knows exactly what to expect. She is very handler motivated and excellent at listening to verbal cues. We don’t know much about Mia’s past, but she it’s clear she was abused and came to us with trust issues. The cool thing about Mia is that she wants to trust and looks to her people for guidance in situations that make her uncomfortable. Mia is a beautiful 9-year-old pittie mix who loves to snuggle and be with her people. This super-smart girl is kennel trained, potty trained, and good with small animals – including cats! Mia is good with most dogs (after a slow intro), but large dogs and high energy dogs might not be the best match. Some of Mia’s favorite things are going on morning walks, sunbathing, getting a full-body massage, and snuggling on a dog bed with a stuffed animal. Occasionally, Mia will get a case of the zoomies, but she’s mostly quiet and chill, and hangs out with the other small pups all day.
