My story

Meet Leo! 🐾 Leo’s story began in a park, where he was left behind — likely in hopes that someone kind would find him. Thankfully, that’s exactly what happened! This sweet boy now has a warm bed and a loving place to land with Adopt Me Bluegrass Pet Rescue, and he’s ready to begin the next, happiest chapter of his life. 💙 Believed to be a 2-year-old Doodle–Terrier mix, Leo is the perfect medium size — just right for cuddles, adventures, and everything in between. It’s clear he was once someone’s cherished pet, as he has endless affection to give and loves nothing more than being close to his people. Leo does well with other dogs and would love a home where he can have a canine buddy to play with. Because of his energy and size, we think he’d do best with children over the age of 10. We’re not yet sure how he feels about cats.
