Booker was rescued from the Humane Society in July 2025. He had previously been in a fight with another dog and was suffered puncture wounds to the face and neck, but he has physically fully recovered. He is a gentle giant who loves snuggling next to people on the couch. He is incredibly gentle with the 5 year old in the house and plays well with him. He is quiet, kind of lazy, but loves a good walk or ride in the car. He does best with very hard plastic toys. Booker should be the only pet in the home. He seems to get triggered with other dogs when he feels claustrophobic in confined spaces and has gotten aggressive with the other dogs in the house.
