I’m an extra-large, extra-goofy guy. I just turned one year old, but don’t let that fool you, I am ALL puppy, full force! I’m playful, silly, a little clumsy, and I have a big personality to match my big body. I’m still learning how to move through the world politely. My shelter friends have been working hard with me on leash manners, but I’ll be honest, right now I’m still a bit buck wild. Because of that, I will need an incredibly strong and confident handler who’s ready to keep up with me and continue my training. I do understand “sit” and “down” but still jump up when I am excited. I’m eager to please, I just need consistency, patience, and guidance to help me get there. With proper training, structure, and someone willing to invest time in me, I will prove to be a very well-rounded boy. If you’re looking for a big lovable goofball who will keep you laughing, I might just be the one for you!The highlights…-Very playful-Big boy=big stomach! -Sweet demeanor-Tall fence requiredKey points to know…-Size + Strength Matter: Extra-large dogs are incredibly strong. Even with the best intentions, they can pull hard, jump up, and accidentally knock someone over. A confident, physically capable handler is a must.-Training Is Not Optional: Full puppy energy in a big body means ongoing leash training, impulse control, and jumping manners will need daily work. Consistency, patience, and possibly professional training will be key to success.-Exercise + Structure Are Essential: Extra large breeds need both physical outlets and mental stimulation to thrive. Without proper exercise, routine, and guidance, their energy can turn into chaos.
