My story

Sweet, affectionate boy. The definition of loyal—he loves his people so much & will happily follow you from room to room like your own little shadow. He wants to be part of everything you do & is always ready to shower you with love & kisses! Fully potty trained, made amazing progress with kennel training, now goes in on his own like a pro. Basic commands like sit, lay down & “wait,” especially at mealtime. Playful, curious & full of personality. Loves toys, plushies & bones. Great at catching a ball or frisbee. One of his cutest quirks? He’s obsessed with blankets & carries them around the house every day. He also loves water—so a future swimming buddy might be in the cards! He gets along great with other dogs & would likely enjoy having a playful canine companion. While he hasn’t had much experience with cats or kids, he did meet a couple of children briefly & did very well. Despite everything he’s been through, including being shot, he has absolutely no fear & a huge zest for life. Incredibly resilient & would make a wonderful companion and loyal protector. He’s currently being treated for heartworm so his activity has been limited, but he has lots of energy & would thrive in an active home once he’s fully recovered—think hiking, running, or outdoor adventures!
