My story

This sweet young lady is a deeply affectionate, people oriented kitty who truly thrives on love, interaction, and companionship. She has been an only pet in a quiet, adult only home for over a year, where she has enjoyed being the center of attention and she has fully embraced that role!She has IBD, but it is very well managed on her prescription food. As long as she stays on her diet, she does great!Her personality is a wonderful mix of playful, curious, and cuddly.She carries her wand toy to you when she wants to play and yes, she even plays fetch sometimes.She is quite the conversationalist and will meow and talk to you, especially when it is time for food or play.She loves high energy play: chasing, running, jumping, zig zag wand games, and dramatic mid air flips.She is fascinated by the outside world and enjoys window watching.When playtime winds down, she is all about affection.She will cuddle in your lap, curl up beside you, or nestle between your legs.She is known to drape herself around your neck while you walk around.She follows her person from room to room especially the kitchen food is serious business.She does not love being alone and may cry when her person leaves; she truly bonds deeply with her human.Kissmas would do best in a home where she can receive lots of attention, daily playtime, and companionship. She is looking for someone who wants a true shadow, a playful partner, and a loving lap cat all wrapped into one special girl.If you are looking for a cat who will love you with her whole heart and keep you entertained along the way then she may be your perfect match. Kissmas will be at the shelter Saturday 2/21 from 10-4pm- she can't wait to meet you!! Kissmas lives at her wonderful foster home but will be at the shelter to meet you once or twice a week. In order to help make the best match, we do want all family members (dogs and humans) to meet any potential new family member.   Our adoption center hours are: Closed Sunday/Monday; Tuesday 10a-2p, Wednesday 3p-7p, Thursday 3p-7p, Friday 10a-2p, Saturday 10a-4p.  We are located at 952 W Melody Avenue in Gilbert (zip code 85233).All animals are altered, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, licensed (dogs). Cats tested for FELV/FIV. Dogs tested for Heartworm. All animals are available to the first family that is a good match, and if we have more than one animal who is a good match, there will be a lottery for all matches. Note that families must have come in to our adoption center and spoken with an adoption counselor prior to any lottery (when we have lotteries, they usually occur on Saturday mornings).
