Henry is a sweet, affectionate, and intelligent dog who is eager to please and thrives on human connection. He is leash trained, rides well in the car, and has a playful yet gentle and even-tempered personality that makes him a wonderful companion for both children and adults. Henry gets along well with other dogs and enjoys social time, though his compatibility with cats is unknown. Having grown up on the streets of Juarez before being rescued, Henry has shown resilience and loyalty, but he can be protective of his food and treats, so a patient owner who understands his background will help him continue to feel safe and secure.
